DESCRIPTION:On September 25 + 26\, 2019 the largest European seaweed conference\, SEAGRICULTURE\, will take place in Ostend\, Belgium. Please have a look at: www.seagriculture.eu. This year’s theme is Seaweed Success Stories. There will be 6 sessions\, each focusing on a specific topic (e.g. large scale cultivation and mechanization\, human and animal health\, etc.). Some facts: \n\nThere will be 24 excellent presentations by seaweed experts\, including 6 keynote speakers\nThere will be 150-200 seaweed experts from more than 30 countries in Europe and abroad\nThere are possibilities to present posters and seaweed products\nOn Wednesday night (Sept 25) there will be an amazing conference seaweed dinner at the beach\nOn Thursday afternoon you will have the chance to visit the research facilities of ILVO\, the Flemish research institute for agriculture\, food and fisheries\nIf you want to stay for an extra day (or two)\, Ostend is only half an hour by train/car from the beautiful city of Brugge\n\n
